

Government confirms £27 million new funding for debt advice
London’s debt advice services welcome government decision to continue funding national debt advice service in England and Wales. The Government has responded to increasing concerns about the end of the Financial Inclusion Fund (FIF) debt advice service by announcing today that the service will continue to be funded with £27 million beyond 31 March 2011 for one year until a more sustainable solution is found.
